Well-characterized antibodies against short-sequence epitope tags are common in the study of protein expression systems.
RFP-tags are composed of 15 amino acid residue peptides derived from aa22-36 of red fluorescent protein (RFP) from the Discosoma sea anemone.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/mlWestern Blot: 0.1-1.0ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
