The DYKDDDDK peptide is a small component of the epitope which does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of the recombinant protein.
It has been used extensively as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Flow Cytometry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 0.01-0.05ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-1ug/ml Flow Cytometry: 1-3ug Labels 1x10e6 cellsImmunofluorescence: 5-20ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
