特徴
- A subset of mitochondrial proteins are synthesized on the ribosomes within mitochondria (1).
- The 55S mammalian mitochondrial ribosomes are composed of a 28S small subunit and a 39S large subunit (1).
- Over 40 protein components have been identified from the large subunit of the human mitochondrial ribosome (1).
- Mitochondrial ribosomal protein L11 (MRPL11) is one such component (1).
- In animals, plants and fungi, this protein is translated from a gene in the nuclear genome (2).
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in TBS, 5% BSA, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight.
- Immunoprecipitation: 1:50Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
