gondii Profilin is a 163 amino acid, 18kD profilin-like protein that generates a potent interleukin-12 (IL-12) response in murine dendritic cells through binding to Toll-like receptor 11 (TLR11).
TLR11 does not appear to be expressed in human.
Applications:Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents detects T.
gondii Profilin.
The detection limit for T.
gondii Profilin is ~1ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
