As downstream targets of the Rho GTPases, the p21-activated kinase (PAK) family of serine/threonine kinases regulates the organization of the actin cytoskeleton in mammalian cells.
The PAK family is structurally categorized in two groups, each with three members: group I PAK1-3; and group II PAK4-6.
Targeted disruption of PAK4 in mice leads to severe defects in the development and migration of neurons, suggesting a key role for this kinase in neuronal development.
Applications:Western Blot: 1.0ug/ml
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile PBS with 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
