Hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGF R), also known as c-MET, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that consists of an extracellular α chain and a longer β chain.
The β chain contains the transmembrane helix and the cytoplasmic portion.
Ligand-stimulated phosphorylation of Y1349 in HGF R’s β chain allows the binding of Gab1.
Applications:Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml is recommended.
Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile PBS, 0.02% sodium azide, 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
