• LMO4 is a 18-20kD member of the LIM-only (LMO) subfamily of LIM domain-containing transcription factors.
• The 165 amino acid human LMO4 comprises a trans-activating Pro-rich N-terminus, two LIM domains, and a LIM-binding C-terminus.
• The LIM domain is a conserved cystein-rich structure containing two tandemly repeated zinc fingers involved in protein-protein interaction.
• LIMs are found in a variety of proteins known to have critical functions in cell-fate specification and differentiation.
• LMO4 is both nuclear and cytoplasmic.
• LMO4 is overexpressed in most primary breast carcinomas.
• Human and mouse LMO4 protein sequences are 100% identical.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
• The detection limit for rhLMO4 is 10ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and 2ng/lane for rmLMO4 under reducing conditions
• ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml.
• The detection limit for rhLMO4 and rmLMO4 is ~1.5ng/well
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
