Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor C1 (rrLILRC1) is a 36kD member of the LILR family.
Mature rat LILRC1 is a 279 amino acid type I transmembrane protein with two extracellular lg-like domains and a cytoplasmic tail.
The transmembrane region contains an Arg residue, suggesting an association with activating adaptor proteins.
LILRC1 is found on B cells, neutrophils and macrophages.
Over the region used as immunogen, rat LILRC1 protein is 84% identical to mouse LILRC1 and 58% identical to human LILRA5.
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry
Recommended Dilution:Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect rat LILRC1.
The detection limit for rrLILRC1 is approximately 1.5ng/well.
In this format, this antibody shows approximately 30% cross-reactivity with rmLILRCI and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rrLILRC2.
Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect rat LILRC1.
The detection limit for rrLILRC1 is approximately 5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Immunocytochemistry: 2-15ug/ml.
This antibody will detect human rat LILRC1 in rat splenocytes.
Flow Cytometry: Dilute to 50ug/ml and add 10ul of the diluted solution to 1-2.5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume not exceeding 200ul.
The binding of unlabeled antibodies may be visualized by adding 10ul of a 25ug/ml stock solution of a secondary developing reagent such as anti-goat lgG conjugated to a fluorochrome.
This antibody has been tested on rat splenocytes for use in flow cytometry.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile PBS with 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
