IGSF4C (Immunoglobulin Superfamily member 4C), also known as Nectin-like 4 (Necl-4) and TSLL2, is a 48-55kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is a member of the nectin-like family of IGSF molecules.
It is expressed in the brain, kidney, bladder and prostate.
IGSF4C forms cis homophilic dimers on cell surfaces and mediates cell adhesion through homophilic trans-interactions in a Ca 2+/Mg 2+-independent manner.
IGSF4C may also be a tumor-suppressor candidate in human prostate cancer.
The mature 364 amino acid (aa) molecule contains a 299 aa extracellular domain (ECD) (aa 25-323) with three Ig-like motifs and a short cytoplasmic domain.
There is at least one potential splice variant, which shows an insertion of 15 aa after Tyr309.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 cells using A172 human cell line Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml using recombinant Human IGSF4C/SynCAM4Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
