Recommended Dilutions:Neutralization: 0.54-0.81ug/ml will yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (2ug/ml)
ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well antibody solution in conjunction with biotinylated anti-human Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (B2700-02B) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant human Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 2ug/ml staining U-2 OS and U-251 MG cells.
B2700-02A was incubated overnight at 4ºC.
followed by a flourescent labeled secondary antibody
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
