The zinc finger transcription factor GATA-2 is widely expressed and plays an essential role in many developmental processes (1).
Studies on GATA-2 knockout mice indicate that this protein is required in hematopoiesis (2).
GATA-2 also inhibits the differentiation of white (3) and brown adipocytes (4) and has been shown to suppress the proliferation of neuronal progenitor cells (5).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
