Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity：Recognizes heNOS (2-11Cys 12) and recombinant heNOS (NOS type III). The reactivity of heNOS (cap-2-11Cys 12) and recombinant myristylated heNOS (myristylated NOS type III) is 50%. Does not react to recombinant hnNOS (NOS type I) and recombinant hiNOS (type II). Specific for the amino terminal of heNOS. It recognizes the non-myrisylated form best, but does crossreact ~50% with the myristylated form of heNOS.
