特徴
- The sm (Smith) is an autoantigen on a series of particles composed of RNA and protein.
- Unlike RNP, the sm antigen is resistant to RNase, but partially sensitive to trypsin.
- It is involved in the pathogenesis of Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
- Antibodies to sm are found in 20-30% of patients with SLE.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot (1:1K-5K).
- ELISA: Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml and detected with antibodies (1:10-50K)
- Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
