特徴

• The sm (Smith) is an autoantigen on a series of particles composed of RNA and protein.
• Unlike RNP, the sm antigen is resistant to RNase, but partially sensitive to trypsin.
• It is involved in the pathogenesis of Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
• Antibodies to sm are found in 20-30% of patients with SLE.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot (1:1K-5K).
• ELISA: Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml and detected with antibodies (1:10-50K)
• Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
