Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:100Immunohistochemistry (Bn-SA/HRP Technique): 1:100-1:300 in PBS.
Immunohistochemistry (Bn/Av-HRP Technique): 1:500-1:1000 in PBS.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Immunohistochemistry:Perfusion Fixation: Fixative-4% paraformaldehyde in 0.1M PBS, pH 7.4; 500ml over ~20 minutes.
Post Fixation: 4% paraformaldehyde in 0.1M PBS, pH 7.4; 500ml over ~20min at RT or 1.5hr at 4°C.
Note: Paraformaldehyde is a necessary component in fixation of serotonin.
If needed, low levels of glutaraldehyde (0.1-0.3%) may be used in conjunction with paraformaldehyde
