Human vascular endothelium cadherin is an endothelium-specific cadherin localized at the intercellular junctions.
The antibody can be used to investigate the functional role of VE-cadherin.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Functional applications.
Not suitable for use in paraffin sections.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Frozen, Formalin or acetone-fixed): 1ug/ml.
Not suitable for use in paraffin sections
Western Blot: 1ug/mlFunctional Applications: Interferes with VE-cadherin adhesion (reversible endothelium disruption).
This effect mimics the transmigration of leukocytes or cancer cells through endothelium
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
