c-Jun N-terminal Kinase (JNK) is a Stress Activated Protein Kinase/Map Kinase (SAPK/MAPK) represented by three isoforms, JNK1 (~49kD), JNK2 (~55kD) and JNK3 (~54kD).
JNK is dually phosphorylated and therefore fully activated by MEK4 and MEK7 on threonine 183 and tyrosine 185 within the activation loop.
The JNK and p38 pathways function to modulate cellcycle, apoptotic and transcriptional responses to stress.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
