Continuous IL-6 gene expression makes an essential contribution to a multistep oncogenesis of plasma cell neoplasia.
IL-6 is a very useful culture supplement for the generation of a high number of antibody-producing hybridomas.
Applications:Suitable for use in Functional Studies, Western Blot and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:10ELISA: 1:10Functional Studies: can be used for neutralization of mouse and rat IL-6 in bio-assays.
For neutralization of biological activity dilutions have to be made according to the amounts IL-6 to be inactivated

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
