Microtubules, the major cytoskeletal elements found in all eukaryotic cells, consist of Tubulin, which is a dimer of two 55kD subunits: alpha and beta.
Microtubules play key roles in chromosome segregation in mitosis, intracellular transport, ciliary and flagellar bending, and structural support of the cytoskeleton.

Size:250ul
Host:rabbit
Source Antibody:human
Grade:Purified
Purity:Purified
Form:Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.6, 0.2% BSA, 15mM sodium azide.
Specificity:Recognizes human Tubulin beta. Blocks (by 70-80%) the ability of tubulin dimers (with GppNHp bound) to promote a stable inhibition of adenylyl cyclase. Does not cause the 10nm filaments to collapse into large lateral aggregates collecting in the cell periphery or tight juxtanuclear caps. Does not block microtubule assembly. Does not inhibit polymerization or depolymerization of platelet tubulin in vitro. Species Crossreactivity: Bovine, Porcine, Rat, Mouse, Guinea pig, Gerbil, Frog, Chicken, Yeast, Fungi, Sea urchin, Myxamoeba, and Plasmodium.
