Tau proteins are microtubuleassociated proteins (MAPs).
Alternate splicing of tau mRNA and differential phosphorylation contribute to the heterogeneity of tau.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistolochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:50-1:100 for 30 min at RT.
No special pretreatment is required.
Positive Control:Alzheimer’s disease brain tissue
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
