特徴
- AFP is normally synthesized in the liver, intestinal tract, and yolk sac of the fetus.
- Antibody to AFP has been shown to be useful in detecting hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) and germ cell neoplasms, especially yolk sac tumors.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications have not been tested.
- Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT
- Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:500-1:1000 for 20 minutes at RT.
- No special pretreatment is required for the immunohistochemical staining of formalin/paraffin tissues
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Positive Control:HeLa cells, HepG2 cells, fetal liver or hepatocellular carcinoma.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
