特徴

• Calretinin is an intracellular calcium-binding protein belonging to the troponin C superfamily characterized by a structural mitif described as the EF-hand domain.
• The immunohistochemical detection of calretinin in developing cerebellum is restricted to the later stages indicated by weak staining from week 21 of gestation, in Purkinje and basket cells and in neurons of the dentate nucleus.
• The intensity of staining increases as the cerebellum matures.
• In tumors, calretinin has been detected in mesotheliomas and some pulmonary adenocarcinomas.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Applications:Immunohistochemistry (formalin/paraffin): 1:200.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min
• Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
• Positive Control: Mesothelioma
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
