Serotonin biosynthesis occurs principally in neurons which originate in the raphe nucleus of the brain, and melatonin synthesis takes place within the pineal gland.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.

Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:1000Western Blot: 1:1000, detects a band of approximately 55kD in human dorsal Raphe nucleus lysates

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
