特徴

• MEK1 and 2 are related dual specificity protein kinases from the MAP kinase kinase family.
• These proteins are activated by phosphoryation at serine 218 and 222, and play a critical role in mitogen growth factor signal transduction
• The specificity of this antibody has been shown by blocking studies in Western blotting, whereby staining was blocked by the phosphopeptide.
• No blocking was seen by the corresponding non-phosphopeptide.
• DDC catalyses the second reaction in the biosynthesis of catecholamines and serotonin.
• In the final stages of dopamine synthesis, this enzyme converts L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA) to dopamine.
• This pathway is of particular research interest since L-DOPA is regularly used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.
• Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000.
• Recognizes a band of ~45kD in Western Blots of serum stimulated NIH3T3 cell lysates
• Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

• Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
