• Protein kinase D2 (PKD2) is a novel human serine threonine protein kinase gene.
• It exhibits the strongest homology to the serine threonine protein kinases PKD/PKC; and PKCnu, particularly in the duplex zinc finger-like cysteine-rich motif, in the pleckstrin homology domain and in the protein kinase domain.
• In contrast, it shows only a low degree of sequence similarity to other members of the PKC family.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 detects PKD2 in RIPA lysates from A431 cells taht had been stimulated with PMA.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
