DIABLO (direct IAP binding protein with low pI) is a novel protein that can bind mammalian IAP homolog A (MIHA, also known as XIAP), and can also interact with MIHB and MIHC and the baculoviral IAP, OpIAP.
DIABLO may promote apoptosis by binding to IAPs and preventing them from inhibiting caspases.
Applications:Western Blot: Use at 1:500 to 1:1000 dilution.
However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
Store at -20°C or colder.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
