Apoptotic events such as chromatin condensation and nuclear fragmentation are triggered by the activation of a family of cysteine proteases called caspases.A novel protein, Acinus, induces apoptotic chromatin condensation after cleavage by caspase-3 without inducing DNA fragmentation and is essential for apoptotic chromatin condensation.
Applications:Western Blot: Use at 1:500 to 1:1000 dilution.
However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
Store at -20°C or colder.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
