Staphylococcus aureus are gram-positive bacteria that, although part of the normal flora of humans (nasal passages, skin and mucous membranes), have the potential to become opportunistic pathogens.
S.
aureus is a frequent cause of a wide range of infections and some bacterial strains have become resistant to many commonly used antibiotics.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence.
Direct FA staining of target antigens in a permissive tissue culture system.
Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Titer:> 1:800 by indirect Immunofluorescence
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
