Influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA virus, segmented, 70nm diameter and enveloped.
Strains are described by geographic origin, strain number, year of isolation and hemagglutination (H) and neuraminidase (N) antigens.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Fluorescence Microscopy, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Conjugation purposes.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence (indirect): 1:160Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Specificity：Recognizes purified matrix protein (M1) of Influenza A, Phillipines (H3N2). Does not react with HEp-2 cells by indirect immunofluorescence. Does not react with M2 matrix protein. The matrix protein of all Influenza A strains is highly conserved, therefore this antibody will pick up all strains.
