HIV-1 performs highly complex orchestrated tasks during the assembly, budding, maturation and infection stages of the viral replication cycle.
During viral assembly, the proteins form membrane associations and self-associations that ultimately result in budding of an immature virion from the infected cell.
Gag precursors also function during viral assembly to selectively bind and package two plus strands of genomic RNA.
Applications:Suitable for use in Indirect Immunofluorescence.
It is also suitable for Conjugation purposes.
Other applications not tested.
Reommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Titer:Indirect Immunofluorescence: >1:1000
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
