特徴

• IKKa (IkB kinasea-, or IKK-1) is part of a large protein complex responsible for the inducible phosphorylation of IkB proteins.
• The same protein was originally identified as CHUK (conserved helix-loop-helix ubiquitous kinase), a serine/threonine kinase of unknown function.
• The human IKKa is a 85kD peptide that has been shown to activate NF-kB by phosphorylation of IkB proteins.
• IKKa interacts with its upstream kinase, NIK, and its downstream substrate, the IkB proteins.
• Mutations of IKKa in its kinase domain lead to a dominant-negative phenotype that suppresses TNFa and IL-1B induced NF-kB activaiton.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:2000Immunoprecipitation: 1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
