The vesicular monoamine transporter is responsible for the vesicular uptake of monoamines, like dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine, serotonin and histamine.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence Microscopy and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:2000-1:3000 using FITC secondary antibody; Incubation overnight at 4°C.
10-100ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining
Immunofluorescence Microscopy: 1:2000-1:3000Western Blot: 1:500; Using a crude synaptic vesicle fraction of rat brain, a 70kD band is recognized

Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
