特徴

• S100A is composed of one alpha- and one beta-chain, whereas S100B is composed of two beta-chains.
• S100 is a brain protein normally present in astrocytes, melanocytes, ependymal cells, glial cells and Schwann cells.
• Langerhans cells in the skin and interdigitating reticulum cells in the paracortex of lymph nodes also stain positively.
• S100 occurs in tumors of the central nervous system, such as Schwannomas, ependymomas, astrogliomas, gliastomas and almost all melanomas.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections, no proteolytic pretreatment required).
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100.
• Incubate overnight at 4°C.
• Dilute immediately before use with PBS.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Positive Control:Human skin
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
