Human 62 kD (p62) protein is present in intracytoplasmic inclusions (e.g.
hyaline bodies) of hepatocellular carcinoma.
p62 protein has been found in many tissues and cells, including lymphoid cells, probably serving a common cellular signal transduction mechanism.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin sections, enhanced after microwave treatment): 1:100-1:600; Incubation Time 1 hr at RT; extended with paraffin sections
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:3000 (ECL)Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
