In man, a-MSH is found in corticotrophs of the anterior pituitary and may also occur in brain neurons.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections): 1:200-1:400 (using FITC).
Incubation Time 1 hr at RTOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:Bouin-fixed paraffin sections of pig pituitary.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
