Histidine decarboxylase (HDC) is the enzyme catalyzing the conversion of histidine into histamine.
HDC can be found in the histamine secreting ECL cells of some species as well as in the mast cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/immocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry Frozen Sections: 1:200-1:300Immunohistochemistry paraffin: 1:200-1:300 (microwave treatment recommended)Western Blot: 1:4000-1:8000Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Positive Control:Stefanini-fixed frozen sections of rat fundus
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
