• Cholecystokinin A Receptor (CCKAR) is one of two 7TM receptors for cholecystokinin peptide hormones.
• This GPCR is involved in gallbladder contraction, insulin secretion, and central nervous system function.
• CCK-A R has been implicated in pancreatic tumorigenesis as well as the pathogenesis of eating disorders and drug addiction.
• Human CCK-A R shares 89% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat CCKAR.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections): 1:1500-1:2500 using FITC conjugates as secondary antibodies; Incubation Time: Overnight at 2-8°C
• Absorption with 10-100ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining
• Opttimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Recommended Positive Control:Frozen rat pancreas sections.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
