Applications:Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hM-CSF (7.0 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.02-0.03 ug/ml of this antibody is required.
ELISA: To detect hM-CSF by direct ELISA (using 100?ml/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5 ug/ml of this antibody is required.
This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hM-CSF.
Western Blot: To detect hM-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hM-CSF is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
