- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Neutralization: Use 0.2-0.4ug/ml to yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hIL-6 (1.0ng/ml).
- ELISA: (direct) 0.5ug/ml Use 100ul/well antibody solution
- Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well
- Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
- Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
- Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
- Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile buffer.
- Aliquot and store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
