• Insulin Like Growth Factor II (IGF2) is a polypeptide growth factor which stimulates the proliferation of a wide range of cell types.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Direct ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Direct ELISA: ≥ 0.5ug/ml using 100ul/well antibody solution.
• Allows the detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hIGF-II
• Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
• The detection limit for recombinant human IGF-II is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
• Neutralization: 3.1-4.6mg/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hIGF-II (10ng/ml)
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
