Haptoglobin combines with free plasma hemoglobin, prevent loss of iron through the kidneys and protect the kidneys from damage by hemoglobin, while making the hemoglobin accessible to degradative enzymes.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500.
