特徴
- NFBD1, nuclear factor with BRCT domains protein 1, participates in the early response to DNA damage.
- It is thought to be a member of the BRCT (BRCA1 C-terminus) superfamily of nuclear proteins.
- It contains an N-terminus forkhead-associated (FHA) motif, two C-terminus BRCT motifs and 13 internal repetitions of a 41 amino acid sequence.
- A more recent renaming of NFBD1 is MDC1 (mediator of DNA damage checkpoint protein).
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:200-1:1000 observed size: ~220 kD positive control: Jurkat whole cell lysate Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
- Freeze at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
