特徴

• Chemokines play important roles in inflammation and critical for the recruitment of effector immune cells to sites of infection.
• Chemokines activate leukocytes by binding to G protein coupled receptors (1).
• The ever-growing chemokine receptor subtypes can be divided into 2 major groups, CXCR and CCR, based on the 2 major classes of chemokines.
• One of the CCR receptors, CCR3 (eotaxin receptor), is expressed on eosinophils and certain T cell population respond to a variety of CC chemokines apart from eotaxin, including RANTES, monocyte chemotactic protein (MCP)-2, MCP-3, and MCP-4 (2,3).
• CCR3 facilitated infection by a more restricted subset of primary viruses, and binding of the CCR3 ligand, eotaxin, and inhibited infection by these isolates (4).
• Applications:Suitable for the detection of CCR3 expression by Western blotting.
• A band of approx.
• size 45 kD should be detected.
• Western blot analysis of 10ug of total cell lysate from Daudi cells with antibody at 2 g/ml dilution.
• Recommended Dilution:Western blot: 1-3ug/ml
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
• Freeze at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
