Caveolae are specialized plasma membrane associated organelles that participate in numerous cellular functions including endocytosis, potocytosis, transcytosis, signal transduction and cholesterol trafficking.
Caveolae are also important in the regulation of various nitric oxide The major proteins that form caveolae are the caveolins of which there are three major isoforms.
Caveolin-2 has been shown to positively regulate caveolin-1-dependent caveolae biogenesis and that this phenomenon is contingent on the phosphorylation of caveolin-2 on serines 23 and 36 (1–5).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot (ECL): 0.1-1ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
