• Interleukin-1B (IL-1beta) is a potent immuno-modulator which mediates a wide range of immune and inflammatory responses including the activation of B and T cells.
• Human IL-1beta is a 17kD protein containing 153 amino acid residues.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Neutralization of Bioactivity.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml using recombinant human IL-1bImmunocytochemistry: 5-15ug/ml using immersion fixed human peripheral blood lymphocytes and immersion fixed human peripheral blood mononuclear cells treated with LPS and monensin
• Neutralization: 0.004-0.00ug/ml in the presence of 50pg/ml recombinant human IL-1b and 1.25ug/ml concanavalin A.
• Measured by its ability to neutralize IL‑1 b-induced proliferation in the D10.G4.1 mouse helper T cell line.
