Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.2mg/ml When used in conjunction with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human FGF-6, the detection limit for rhFGF-6 is ~2ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
ELISA: The FGF-6 antibody can be used as a detection antibody along with a monoclonal capture antibody (Catalog # F4211-02).
Using plates coated with 100ul/well of the capture antibody at 1-2ug/ml with 100ul/well of the detection antibody at 200-400ng/ml.
ELISA sample volumes of 100ul with a range of 93.8-6,000pg/ml can be obtained
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
