Two proton-gated channels, acid-sensing ionic channel (ASIC) and dorsal root ASIC (DRASIC), are known to be expressed by sensory neurons.
These types of channels are of interest because low pH causes pain.
ASIC Beta, a splice variant of ASIC, is found only in a subset of small and large diameter sensory neurons and is absent from sympathetic neurons or the central nervous system.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.

Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
