Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot.

Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 for neat serum and 1-10ug/ml for affinity pure antibody using ECL.
ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000 for neat serum and 0.5-1ug/ml for affinity pure.
Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml.
Immunohistochemistry & Immunofluorescence: Not tested.
We recommend the use of affinity purified antibody at 1-20ug/ml in paraformaldehyde fixed sections of tissues.
Neat serum can be used at 1:500 or more.
VMAT1 has been localized in adrenal chromaffin cells (2).
VMAT1 was been found in endosomes of transfected CHO cells., and in LDCVs of rat PC12 cells (2).
Adsorption of antibody with the antigenic peptide abolished immunoreactivity (2).
VAMT1 has been localized in endocrine and paracrine cells associated with the intestine, stomach, sympathetic nervous system (3).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
Freeze at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
