特徴
- Human 8-Oxoguanine DNA Glycosylase (hOGG1) is involved in the excision of 7, 8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine produced as a result of DNA damage.
- This gene has been localized on human chromosome 3p25.
- Several forms of hOGG protein have been cloned differing in lengths (351-424 aa) (refs 1).
- Full length human OGG1 fusion protein with N-terminal His-tag was expressed in E.
- coli and purified using Nickel-affinity support.
- Purified hOGG1 was injected into rabbits to produce antibodies.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
- Western Blot, though not tested, may potentially be used as an application.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000.
- Deytects a band at ~38kD from human cells and tissues.
- ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000.
- Using 50-100ng control peptide/well
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
