Lyophilized products should be reconstituted in 100 ul water and gently mixed for 15 min at room temp.
All peptide/antibody received in solution or reconstituted from lyophilized vials should be stored frozen at -20°C or below in suitable aliquots.
It is not recommended to store diluted solutions.
Avoid repeated freeze and thaw.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 for neat serum and 1-10ug/ml for affinity pure antibody using ECL.
Approx.
100-400ug membrane protein/lane should be loaded to visualize the receptor band
ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000 for neat serum and 0.5-1ug/ml for affinity pure.
Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml
Immuoprecipitation: Not tested.
We suggest 5-10 ul neat serum or 1-10ug affinity pure per 100-400ug of protein samples.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
Freeze at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Grade:Affinity Purified
Purity:Purified over the peptide-Sepharose column
Form:Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4 and 0.1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Specificity:The 19 AA rat D3R peptide showed no significant sequence homology with other dopamine receptors (D1, D2, D4 or D5). It has sequence homology of 100% with mouse (19/19 AA) and 63% with human/monkey (12/19 AA) D3R receptors (1-2). Antibody crossreactivity with D3R from various species is not known
