The Ki67 is a nuclear protein, which is expressed in the proliferating cells.
Ki67 is preferentially expressed during late G1-, S-, M-, and G2-phases of the cell cycle, while cells in the G0 (quiscent) phase are negative for this protein.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/parafin): 10-20ug/ml for 30 min.
at RT.
Requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:Tonsil or breast carcinoma
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
